Play on the Pitch is delighted to be hosting one of our hugely popular adult tournaments at Southampton FC in 2021, giving teams the chance to play on the pitch at St Mary’s Stadium.
The stadium has a capacity of over 32,000 and is completely enclosed, with all corners being filled with seating. This gives the stadium a fantastic atmosphere and looks hugely impressive.
In our 11-a-side tournaments, each team plays a minimum of 90 minutes in a series of shorter matches, giving players a full match experience with invaluable ‘built-in’ rest periods. You’ll realise after the first 10 minutes of play, just how fit professional footballers really are!
Playing on the pitch at a professional stadium is an experience usually only accessible to the elite few. You’ll feel the butterflies in your stomach as you line up in the tunnel and then walk on to the pitch to the sounds that players hear on match day.
